On October 4, 2016, a presentation about DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) programs was held at the Neftchilar campus of Khazar University.
The presentation was conducted by Rena Hasanova, representative of the DAAD Information Centre Baku. Ms. Hasanova spoke about DAAD, studying in Germany, and scholarships available for bachelor, master and doctorate students as well as about summer German language courses. The presentation ended with a question and answer session.
Following the presentation, Ms. Hasanova met with Ms. Turan Jafarova, Director of the International Affairs Office. Topics discussed in the meeting included cooperation with German universities, opportunities available for academic and administrative staff, funding and scholarship opportunities.
DAAD is one of the largest funding organizations in the world supporting international exchange of students and scholars. The main goal of DAAD in Azerbaijan is to promote international exchange, provide information, and award scholarships to students and scholars.
