QS University rankings released annual ranking of the best universities in Emerging Europe and Central Asia (EECA) for 2016.
Top 200 universities out of 21 EECA countries –Azerbaijan, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czekh Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine- have been included to the the list.
Compared to previous the QS University rankings, 6 universities from Azerbaijan participated in the ranking. The names of those universities have been included to the list of top 200 universities. According to the results of the ranking, Khazar University was ranked 68th scoring 51.9 points. Baku State University was ranked 88th scoring 46 points; Qafqaz University was ranked 89th scoring 45,9 points; University of Languages was ranked 121-130th; State Economic University of Azerbaijan was ranked 150-200th; and ADA University was ranked 150-200th.
