On April 27-28, 2016, a delegation from Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University was invited by Khazar University to Azerbaijan to discuss cooperation between the two universities.
The delegation from Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University included Professor Hasan Valizadeh, Rector; Dr. Ali Ajami, Vice-Rector for Research; and Dr. Mansour Imanpour, Vice-Rector for Education. Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University is a public university located near Tabriz, Iran. It has seven schools and provides education at bachelor, master, and doctoral levels.
Khazar University hosted the delegation during the first day of the visit, April 27. A series of meetings were held at both Khazar University and its affiliate, Dunya School. The guests from Tabriz met with Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, as well as with Dr. Hassan Niknafs, President of Khazar University.
A presentation about Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University was delivered for the university management, deans of the schools, and heads of academic and administrative departments. Members of the delegation also met with Iranian students who study at Khazar University.
A cultural program was organized for the members of the delegation in the evening.
On the second day of their visit, members of the delegation met with representatives of Baku State University.
