Development Center oversees the management of all current projects as well as development of new ones. Currently, the center manages more than eight TEMPUS projects, and many other projects supported by different donors and organizations. Among them are UNICEF, World Bank, Visegrad Fund. At the same time, the Center developing new projects announced by ERASMUS+ and supports extended cooperation and collaboration between European, regional and local partners.

The 3-month training program for potential school leaders started at Khazar University with the support of UNICEF. The program started in September 2014 and will last until the middle of February 2015. The program includes one and a half months of preparation and one and a half months for the reporting period. The preparation period has been prolonged as a result of the late opening date of high schools (September 15th). The deadline for application submission was prolonged until the end of September. 150 application forms were received, and as a result of a three-tier selection process, 40 participants were identified as future potential leaders. The actual training has started on November 19th at Khazar University’s Neftchilar Campus.
The project on "Capacity Building of Caucasus Academic Public Administration Programmes on the basis of EU Administrative Principles” supported by the International Visegrad Fund will help to share the knowledge and experiences of V4 and Caucasus countries in Public Administration the teaching, training and research necessary for institutional and administrative capacity building, based on EU administrative principles, which include the rule of law, efficiency, effectiveness, openness, transparency, integrity and citizens’ participation. The project outcomes will facilitate the reform processes in the Caucasus region, preparation for EU integration and regional cooperation and awareness of the importance of Public Administration performance.
