Currently, the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences is the largest School at Khazar University offering 13 undergraduate, 15 masters and 14 Ph.D. programs.

8 bachelors and 11 master's degrees are taught in English. From 2019/2020 academic year, the following majors “Elementary School Teaching", "Clinical Psychology" and "General Psychology" will be taught in English. At the same time, depending on the specialty, students will be given the opportunity to choose a second foreign language, such as German, French, Chinese, Arabic, Persian and other languages.

Students who might prosper to become highly professional in their fields and render their qualified services in different countries of the world, along with teaching of language courses, will be offered to choose elective specialization subjects, that can fulfill their desires in accordance with their field and profile. Thus, our School has a creative, effective and quality educational environment, organized by teachers who work with innovative methods, and who are regarded as true experts in their fields of specialization.
